Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Wellness Sales Manager to join the Spa and Wellness Team in Park City!
With 150 rooms, 4,000 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets, this award-winning Forbes 4-Star boutique property offers elevated comfort food inspired by mountain regions from around the world. This includes a 3-meal restaurant, seasonal pool restaurant, and in-room dining.
In this role, you will have oversight of the fitness team as well as the selling of Spa Club and Wellness Memberships including marketing, lead generation, contracting, ongoing promotions, and renewals. You will also partner with Sales/Event/Catering Managers on new group business prospects, site inspections, bridal experiences, and the development of dynamic group proposals and contracts.
The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and a background in fitness and/or spa memberships and fitness scheduling.

What will I be doing?
As our Wellness Sales Manager, you will be responsible for management of the Spa Member program and assisting the department heads of the Spa, Recreation, and Retail departments with the coordination and delivery of group events and special events/activities in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
- Oversee the Spa, Recreation, and Retail department’s group and events team while assisting outlets
with daily tasks to ensure smooth operations - Create and develop new group and Spa Member events in the respective departments
- Work closely with the sales and catering teams on prospective business opportunities
- Conduct site visits with sales team to increase ancillary group events
- Communicate with clients and guests to prepare group reservations
- Actively sell and socialite new group clients for future ancillary event bookings
- Facilitate and coordinate ancillary group events on site
- Main point of contact for the catering/events/sales team and Spa Members
- Manage all aspects of Spa Member program including membership sales, communication to existing and
potential members, and perform monthly billing processes - Responsible for Recreation team members, group fitness class schedule, private programming, and
maintenance of equipment - Research new and innovative group fitness formats to keep offerings current
- Responsible for forecasting, scheduling, and labor reports
- Attend weekly departmental meetings
- Assist with staff recruiting, training and development
- Continuously monitor team’s performance and offer coaching and assistance as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean departmental working environment
