Job Title: Visitor Services & Partner Development Assistant
FLSA: Full Time, Non-Exempt
Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: $16.00/hour
Primary Responsibilities
Visitor Services/Partner Development assistant is responsible for providing guest services and acting as the in-person representative for Visit Salt Lake in the Visitor Information Center, maintaining a high level of customer service with direct guest interaction. Position is responsible for assisting partner development with administrative duties as assigned.
Job Duties
- Maintain knowledge of Salt Lake venues, restaurants, bars, events, things to do and more
- Provide retail support. Including sales, customer service, register, restocking, and opening and closing procedures
- Engage guests in person, via email, on the phone, and the Visit Salt Lake Chat Bot
- Open and close Visitor Information Center doors, ensuring business hours are maintained
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Visit Salt Lake campaigns, promotions, and products
- Provide basic customer service and information for Ski City Super Pass, Visit Salt Lake Brewery Pass, and Visit Salt Lake Connect Pass
- Records all partner referrals into CRM
- Create and send dues invoices to all new and renewing members
- Curate and sends aging communications on a monthly basis
- Create and send all new member packets
- Assist with administrative duties and Membership events as-needed
- Audit destination listings on VisitSaltLake.com
- Assists Director of Visitor Services and Brand Activations in knowledge base input for Chatbot.
- Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Good working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn programs specific to VSL
- Comfortable navigating and troubleshooting various computer programs; comfortable working with tech-based info sources; knowledge of database technology a plus
- Self-starter; strong organizational skills, initiative, attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally, standing for long periods
