WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Collaborate closely with multiple cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of initiatives.
- Identify, research, and recommend technology solutions that deliver on our best-of-breed strategy.
- Own the configuration and change management process for key software solutions and ensure that they are meeting business objectives.
- Partner with other POWDR teams and vendors to prioritize work and build alignment.
- Develop, facilitate, and drive change management and adoption with super users within departments on key activities and system processes.
- Communicate plans, progress, goals, and roadblocks to internal and external stakeholders.
- Growth mindset focused on continuous improvement of systems with a priority on improving the guest and/or staff experience.
- Responsible for understanding reporting and decision-making insights across a variety of business teams and resort leadership.
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE
- College degree in related field preferred. Additional related work experience may be substituted for education.
- At least 3 years of experience in an analyst role in addition to a proven track record delivering technology solutions across a wide range of business functions.
- 4+ years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
- Expertise in business analysis and ability turn requirements into user stores and deliver value faster.
- Strong leadership ability with an emphasis on trust, mentoring, and team development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Eager, quick, life-long learner with a desire to constantly learn, iterate, and improve.
- Proven experience managing and configuring complex software solutions that impact business processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- An understanding of the principles and tools used by agile development teams.
- Experience with the configuration and management of complex software solutions and business functions including ecommerce, retail sales and/or accounting systems.
- Ability to identify and execute technology initiatives that have direct customer and business impact.
- Ability to communicate and champion a roadmap effectively to customers, stakeholders, and executives.
- In-Depth knowledge of ticketing, POS, and BPM software. Experience with other ski industry software desirable. Aptitude to learn new software and interfaces quickly is essential.
- Prefer experience with relational databases, SQL, and / or payment card authorization gateways.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to ski or snowboard preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Shifts could vary, maybe early morning or late evening, weekends, holidays, depending on business levels.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be prepared to stay overnight, if necessary, on occasional times of road closures.
- May experience unusual stress from continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
- Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
