Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION: Manage guides, drivers, reception area and lead snowmobile tours when needed. Administrative responsibilities as necessary: answer phones, manage booking software, book tours, check guests in, manage staffing and drive business levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer phones and schedule snowmobile tours for guests using Fareharbor; organize tours to insure efficiency
- Manage onsite experience: welcome and check in guests as they arrive; assist with guided tours as needed and clean up after tours are completed
- Ensure a good guest experience by selling concessions and other items to guests as needed
- Maintain and provide accurate accounting records
- Perform trail maintenance as needed utilizing both a snowcat and snowmobile
- Minor repairs to snowmobiles when necessary
- Transport guests via van to various locations
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be an experienced snowmobile operator
- First Aid and current CPR certificate
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Physically able to perform job-related duties; able to lift 50 lbs
- Good organizational and interpersonal skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Must have reliable transportation for extreme conditions and be willing to work in adverse winter weather conditions
- Must be able to provide a basic toolkit
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong computer skills, experience using Inntopia preferred
