Job Overview
With over 15 years in business, we are looking for entrepreneurial Culinary team members to join us in enhancing our dining experience. Candidates will have the experience to help reposition our restaurants to highlight our on-property farm, animal program, and the variety of cultures found in Southern Utah’s history.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting menu items.
- Provide recommendations based on guest preferences and menu knowledge.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a polite and timely manner.
- Order Taking and Service:
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests.
- Input orders into the POS system and communicate with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Menu Knowledge:
- Stay informed about menu items, specials, and ingredients.
- Describe menu items, preparation methods, and ingredients to guests.
- Table Maintenance:
- Set up and maintain dining areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Refill water glasses and attend to guest needs during the meal.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate order delivery.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service.
- Payment Processing:
- Present bills to guests and process payments accurately.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and other forms of payment.
- Adherence to Policies and Standards:
- Follow company policies, procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is often preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Education / Experience /Other Requirements:
- Candidate should have experience in fine dining.
- Must be a minimum of 21 years old
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and walk up and downstairs.
- Must be knowledgeable about products and local area attractions.●
- Positive interpersonal skills are required.
- Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English.
We have limited rental housing available on a first-come, first-served basis. The starting rate of pay will be based on the level of experience.
