The hotel offers 700 modern rooms and suites, 60,000 square feet of meeting space, an array of dining options, and a rooftop terrace with heated outdoor pool and cabanas. The Sales Manager role is an entry-level management position, handling group business opportunities between 10-75 peak rooms with a performance quota. These individuals handle large lead volume with short-term booking windows and develop new leads primarily within the local market.

Qualifications – External
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
- Refined verbal and written communication skills.
- Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training program or equivalent training.
- Prefer 1-2 years previous hotel experience.
The Group Sales Manager is a fully competent individual who has experience in the sales process and operational function of a Hotel. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to group/convention customers from all business segments, managing accounts, conducting site inspections, and business development/revenue generation initiatives. Duties include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizing Hyatt systems to coordinate customer service and business requirements as appropriate. The Group Sales Manager will also participate and may lead Sales & Events and other staff meetings. This person must be a self-motivated and results driven Leader that works effectively/successfully under pressure and in a team environment. The position does carry a monthly revenue generation goal with quarterly incentive plan.

Qualifications
