ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
1. Ensure all cleaning activities are executed according to cleaning schedules/demands
2. Hire staff for Housekeeping department
3. Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies
4. Understand cleaning methods for all surfaces at the resort
5. Coordinate with Housekeeping Lead to train new employees on cleaning methods
6. Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
7. Budgeting for Housekeeping operations and projects
EQUIPMENT USED: Vacuum, wide area vacuum, carpet extractor/cleaner, window cleaning equipment, housekeeping carts, aerial work platform, truck, golf cart, cleaning chemicals, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES TO SAFETY:
1. Foster a safety minded culture
2. Understand correct use of cleaning chemicals
3. Understand correct use of equipment
4. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment
5. Only operate equipment when authorized
6. Follow safety rules concerning working at heights and ladders.
7. Follow safety rules for on mountain travel concerning safe travel routes, avalanche reduction mornings, and skiing for job duties
QUALIFICATIONS: None
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or equivalent. 4 years of work experience. 2 years of supervisory experience. 2 years of work experience with housekeeping responsibilities.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: None
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to lift 75 lbs., must be able to walk/ride lifts/travel to different areas of the resort in any weather condition.
