Job Overview

Groundskeeper/Landscaper needed to fill Full Time position at Zermatt Utah (aka Zermatt Resort & Spa) located in Midway, Utah. Groundskeepers/Landscapers will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, including mowing lawns, trimming trees & shrubs, planting, watering, fertilizing, raking and pruning trees. This position will also be responsible for inspecting grounds for debris and removing debris, as well as sweeping walkways, clearing gutters, making sure all flower beds are clean & weeded, maintaining all interior & exterior plants, mulching, aerating, removing thatch, trimming edging around flowerbeds and clearing fallen leaves as needed. During the winter season, the Groundskeeper will be responsible for snow removal, including removing snow from walks, driveways, parking lots, etc. & for spreading salt when icy conditions exist. The Groundskeeper will also occasionally operate vehicles & powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chain saws, etc. Previous experience in Groundskeeping/Landscaping strongly preferred. This position requires a working knowledge of motorized and hand/power tools in order to perform groundwork activities. Given that operating power tools is an essential function of this position, applicants must be at least 18 yrs of age to be considered for this position. Day shift, days off may vary.
