Job Overview
Our hotel is seeking a reliable and dedicated General Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 2 or more years experience, strong communication and time-management skills, and a passion for creating the best possible experience for our customers. Our General Manager must be capable of supervising staff, overseeing the general maintenance of the hotel, and performing tasks such as arranging group reservations, operating emergency equipment and handling main reception duties.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise employees who run the hotel to ensure customer satisfaction and the hotel’s continuing operation.
- Supervise the activities of employees who operate the front desk, handle room reservations, and perform maintenance.
- Work with sales reps to ensure that rooms and meeting spaces can be reserved by customers.
- Develop marketing strategies to increase customer loyalty.
- Ensure that all contracts, legal obligations, and senior management directives are met.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that necessary equipment is installed and operational.
- Train new employees and give them on-the-job training.
- Manage all financial aspects of the hotel.
- Visit each department, listen to employee concerns, identify problems, and make necessary improvements.
- Keep updated on changes in business law and submit recommendations for standardizing or revising policies or procedures.
