This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team focused on providing Experiences of a Lifetime to both guests and employees! Grand Summit Hotel, a RockResort has been recently renovated and rebranded to provide a luxury hotel experience. The Front Office Manager manages all operational activities of the hotel’s front office.
Job Specifications:

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk, PBX, bell, valet, concierge, ski valet and shuttle services
- Prioritize thorough onboarding and training of each employee
- Support the front office team by learning each role and have ability to step into positions
- Be a voice and leader in the IQware integration
- Maintain high Vail Resorts standards through training and supervision, and maintain Brand Standards of a Rock Resort
- Demonstrate the culture of absolutely by providing exceptional service to guests, owners and team members
- Lead a culture of safety
- Drive positive results in guest surveys by making guests feel welcome, important, comfortable and relaxed
- Act as MOD for the hotel
- Create and execute developmental plans for Assistant Managers
- Budget labor and operating expenses. Be involved with forecasting and presenting in P+L Review
- Payroll, scheduling, billing assistance,
- Attend meetings related to front office operations
- Set clear expectations for team members and maintain accountability
- Create and preserve a positive work environment for team members
Job Qualifications:
Required:
- 3+ years of guest or front office management or supervisory experience at a property of similar size and quality
- Valid US Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office, internet, email, touch typing
- Must have the ability to read, write and speak English
- Able to communicate with guest, homeowners, and colleagues with diplomacy and tact
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
- Guest relations, problem solving, training, accounting
Preferred:
- College Diploma
The expected pay range is $55,000 – $72,125 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
