OverviewJob Summary:

As a Front Desk Night Auditor at Black Desert Resort, you will be responsible for balancing the day’s accounts, providing exceptional service to our guests during overnight hours, and ensuring a smooth end-of-day process. This role combines the duties of a front desk agent with those of a night auditor, requiring both guest service skills and financial accuracy.

 

Job Specifications:

Onsite: Black Desert Resort

Shift & Schedule Availability: Year Round / Full Time

Salary Range: $18.00/ Hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Projected Start Date: August 5th

Job Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Review and balance daily financial transactions including credit card settlements and cash receipts.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports summarizing financial activities.
  • Verify and post revenue from all hotel operations ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare the night audit report.
  • Assist guests with check-ins and check-outs during the overnight shift, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately.
  • Handle reservation bookings, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, resolve any issues, and provide information about resort amenities and local attractions.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries.
  • Provide a welcoming and efficient experience for guests, addressing them by name to personalize interactions.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for guests over the phone, providing courteous and efficient service.
  • Manage internal communication systems, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of messages to guests and staff.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security concerns.
  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of guest information.
  • Operate the resort’s Private Branch Exchange (PBX) system, including handling incoming and outgoing calls, transferring calls, and providing general information to callers.
  • Assist guests with wake-up calls, voicemail, and other telecommunication services.

QualificationsPreferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Night Auditor, Front Desk Agent, or similar role in a luxury hotel/resort setting.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle high-stress situations with grace.
  • A commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
