Job Overview

An Experienced Housekeeper at Black Desert Resort is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order in guest rooms and public areas. This position reports to the Housekeeping Manager and ensures that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay by providing a clean and welcoming environment.

 

Job Specification:

 

Location: Onsite at Black Desert Resort

Shift & Schedule: Year-Round / Full Time / Weekends / Holidays

Pay Range: $17.50 – $22.00 This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Job Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas according to resort standards.
  • Make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, and clean bathrooms.
  • Replenish guest room amenities such as toiletries, towels, and minibar items.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Manager or relevant department.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored properly.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Train and mentor new housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to cleaning standards and procedures.
  • Participate in housekeeping meetings and training sessions to stay updated on cleaning techniques and standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in housekeeping or a similar role in a hospitality setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently, managing multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.

Compensation Range

The compensation for this position is $17.50/Hr. – $22.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
