Job Overview

The Sheraton Park City is currently seeking an Executive Housekeeping Manager to join our team! We are looking for someone who has Housekeeping Management experience of at least 1-3 years in a hotel setting. Marriott or Sheraton experience a plus.

The job responsibilities are:

  • Supervise the housekeeping department, including counseling, termination, performance evaluations, training, and development.
  • Ensure quality services are rendered in meeting guest’s needs.
  • Establish and maintain cost control systems for staffing, linen, inventories, and cleaning supplies.
  • Assist with interviewing, selecting, and hiring department associates.
  • Schedule staff according to labor standards and forecasted occupancy.
  • Maintain room quality based upon Driftwood and Sheraton/Marriott hotel guidelines.
  • Monitor and maintain required level of cleanliness in rooms, storage areas, restrooms, and common areas.
  • Enforce procedures for the acceptance, security, and the return of guest lost and found items.
  • Ensure that all associates scrupulously follow established safety standards.
  • Maintain productivity and labor cost goals.
  • Ensure that all associates adhere to dress code, including name tag.
  • Conduct inventories of linen, supplies, and equipment as required.
  • Order and receive supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Immediately alert hotel management of emergency situation via all communication avenues.
  • Ability to accurately use various office and accounting software.
  • Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
  • Conduct and attend required meetings.
  • Understands and communicates the Driftwood and Sheraton mission.
  • Conducts himself/herself professionally and maintains a positive demeanor.
  • Adjusts to high-pressure conditions.
  • Completing monthly projects to improve quality of cleanliness in rooms and common areas.
  • Ensures the passing of the Sheraton BSA (brand standard audit) by knowing it and ensuring that the team is adhering to all standards.
  • Adhere to new COVID-19 cleaning standards and Marriott’s Cleanliness Matters program. Ensure that all associates are trained.
  • Any miscellaneous projects as needed or deemed necessary by the GM.
