Summit Events is a full-service Destination Management Company (DMC) operating in Park City and Salt Lake City, UT. As a growing company, we are seeking a qualified professional to manage the flow of new business and our client proposal needs.
Sales Coordinator | Proposal Development
- Start Date: ASAP
- approx 50,000 salary
- Full-time
- Reports to: Rob Walsh, President, and Sales Manager
- Location: Park City Office (Prospector) and remote days considered following orientation.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Part I: Sales Coordinator
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the sales efforts of Summit Events
- Assist in the qualification of new opportunities
- Develop client proposals via existing software, templates, and content
- Develop line-item estimated costings via existing templates
- Communicate with vendors to establish availability, pricing, and offerings. Catalog and update this information in our database
- Plan, design, schedule and produce client site inspections
- Manage and update the sales pipeline as new opportunities arise and existing opportunities evolve
- Respond to new business inquiries if a sales manager or the director of operations is not available
Part II: Proposal Development
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage our proposals and sales marketing materials
- Address and edit the overall look and feel of our proposals with attention paid to accuracy, pricing, design aesthetic, and uniformity
- Organize and catalog Summit Events offerings
- Develop proposal and costing templates for future use
- Design and produce marketing pieces for a range of audiences
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality, event planning, or related field is helpful but not essential
- Some experience in sales and/or marketing efforts helpful
- Strong oral and written skills required
- Prior experience in effectively handling multiple projects/demands simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Workspace
- Additional nights, weekends, and holidays may be required
