Job Overview
PURPOSE OF POSITION: This position will assist the Deer Valley Area Electrician and Utilities Manager. Will also report to and take direction from other staff Journeyman and Master Electricians.
SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Utah State Apprentice Electrician License preferred
- Must be willing to apply for and hold Utah State Electrical Apprentice License and attend Electrical Apprenticeship Courses with the goal of achieving Journeyman status
- Must be flexible with schedule and shifts. Overtime will be necessary when needed
- Will need to be prepared to work in all weather conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy loads and be physically fit
- Ability to ski a plus
- Employee to provide hand tools and volt/ohm meter
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Duties include all aspects of electrical design, troubleshooting, installation and maintenance
- All aspects of construction trade and building maintenance experience helpful and desired
- Experience with heavy equipment helpful. Will be required to operate and certify on:
o Snowcats
o Snowmobiles
o Loaders and back/track hoe’s
o Fork lifts
o Dump trucks
o Mountain utility vehicles
o Etc.
