Job Overview

A Doorman/Bellman at Black Desert Resort is responsible for providing a warm and welcoming first impression to guests, assisting with luggage, driving resort vehicles to transport guests, and ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. This position reports to the Front Office Manager or Guest Services Manager and plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest service.

 

Job Specification:

Location: Onsite at Black Desert Resort

Shift & Schedule: Year-Round / Full Time

Pay Range: $13.00/hour plus Tips. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors. If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $16/ hour inclusive of tips

Job Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide assistance with luggage and other items upon arrival and departure.
  • Escort guests to their rooms, providing information about the resort’s amenities and services.
  • Assist with the transportation of luggage to and from guest rooms in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Drive resort vehicles to transport guests to various locations within the resort or local area.
  • Help maintain the cleanliness and order of the lobby, entrance, and surrounding areas.
  • Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
  • Coordinate with the front desk to ensure smooth and efficient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Valid Utah driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items.
