Job Overview
The Cook II is responsible for assisting the sous chef and the cook III with the supervision of cooks in the level I position, preparation and presentation of the daily menus (especially high-quality specials, soups, stew, and chilies), and assisting servers with restocking and serving at stations where lines develop during peak business hours.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create lively and flavorful dishes, adhering to production standards and time constraints
- Change pans regularly, maintain a clean workspace, restock food supplies, and make sure all mise-en-place is in sufficient quantities for the day’s counts
- Assist servers during busy times to speed guests through lines
- Clean lines at the end of the day
- Store and rotate food to ensure freshness and avoid waste
- Label leftover products and store them in appropriate areas of cooler or kitchen
- Take daily inventories
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous cook experience required
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift and carry 25 – 50 lbs.

PAY RATE:
- Pay: $22.50 per hour
