What will I be doing?

As a Chef de Partie, you will support the Sous Chef in the daily culinary operation by leading a team that delivers outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Oversee preparation of food in all areas during assigned shift
  • Assist and support line level team members to ensure proper station Mise en Place is in order before service
  • Communicate with Sous Chef for major station needs
  • Work side by side with Line level team members to ensure proper cooking techniques
  • Prepare fish and meats
  • Visually inspect food quality and presentation
  • Focus on product rotation and proper organization of Mise en Place
  • Work with Sous Chef to develop daily specials, and focus to maintain proper cuisine that has been set by Executive Chef
  • Responsible for the closing of the kitchen operation and recording manager daily checklist when Sous Chef is not on duty
  • Will lead daily connect with the team when Sous Chef is not on duty
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety, sanitation, food handling and food storage procedures
