Job Overview
Ensure the smooth operation of food preparation including ordering. Oversee breakfast keeping the area clean, tidy and replenished. Work together as a team to achieve our goal of superior guest service.
SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds
- Must maintain a pleasant and courteous attitude
- Utah Food Handler’s Permit required (we can assist in you getting this)
- Previous experience in food and beverage service
- An advantage to meet Deer Valley driving requirements (have a clean drivers license, be at least 21 years of age and have a minimum of four years of driving experience) but not a necessity
- Honesty and reliability
- All shifts will be in the morning and you must be available to work weekends and holidays (including spring break)
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to work on time and open up
- Maintain a clean and organized work space in the kitchen
- Simple preparation of breakfast food items
- Frequently check the breakfast room during breakfast to ensure that it breakfast items are replenished, dirty dishes are removed promptly and it is kept clean
- Assist in tidying up after breakfast
- Prepare food for après ski
- Have a complete knowledge of all the food and beverage products offered
- Help with the development of new simple menu items
- Have a working knowledge of all food and beverage equipment
- Oversee restocking and ordering/purchasing of food items
- Assist our guests with any service needs
- Assist with any other guest service tasks
