Job Summary:
The Banquet Server plays a critical role in providing an exceptional dining experience during various banquet events. This position shows our guests we are passionate about hospitality and dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.
Job Specification:
Location: Onsite at Black Desert Resort
Shift & Schedule: Year-Round / On Call / Weekends / Holidays
Pay Range: $8/ hour plus a portion of service charges. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors. If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $16/ hour inclusive of service charges

Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Efficiently set up and break down banquet rooms according to event specifications, including tables, chairs, linens, and dinnerware.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to guests during banquet events, including serving food and beverages.
- Be knowledgeable about the menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to accurately answer guest inquiries.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by attentively responding to their needs and requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of banquet areas during and after events.
- Work collaboratively with the banquet team and other departments to ensure seamless execution of events.
- Handle guest payments and billing as required.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Participate in pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar role in a hospitality setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional and friendly demeanor with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and ability to lift and carry heavy items.
- A team player with a strong work ethic
Compensation Range
The compensation for this position is $8.00/Hr. – $8.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
