The HYATT Place in Salt Lake City Downtown is seeking an outgoing leader and hospitality professional to fill the critical role of General Manager.
General Manager responsibilities will include:
Leading the hotel team. The right candidate will demonstrate hands-on, lead-by-example, day-in-and-day-out leadership.
Overseeing all aspects of hotel operations including: sales/revenue management, front office, customer service, food and beverage, forecasting, cost-control & human resources.
Setting and managing to high standards. The GM must be able to inspire the management team and staff to exceed guest expectations and achieve strong operating results.
Passion for the guest experience and proven skills in delivering guest satisfaction.
The desire for, and ability to create, a positive team-oriented environment.
Flexibility. The General Manager must anticipate regular scheduled weekend and evening hours.
Strong community presence.
Our best candidates will bring:
3-5 plus years of previous hotel management leadership experience supervising rooms, accounting, sales, housekeeping, food & beverage and maintenance.
GM experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor degree preferred.
Uncompromising customer service orientation.
Knowledge of food, wine and related operational experience.
Aptitude in financial management, financial reports and analysis.
Superb written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
