The Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel is currently searching for a
qualified HVAC Engineer to join the Maintenance Department.
This is a full time position, 5 days per week. May include AM and PM
shifts as well as weekends and holidays.
To respond to job assignments in repairing, installing, preventive
maintenance as directed by an appropriate supervisor.
Advise immediate supervisor of conditions
which might affect the operation of the Engineering Department.
Become thoroughly familiar with hotel's emergency procedures and
perform assigned duties per hotel and departmental procedures.
Become familiar with current hotel conservation measures, ensure
their compliance, and make recommendations to supervisors on energy
conservation improvements. Make all necessary repairs to maintain
the hotel's operations.
Become thoroughly familiar with all
phases of operation and maintenance necessary to operate and repair
all refrigeration systems

Perform all repairs,
maintenance, and replacement of parts for preventive maintenance
schedule and accurately and neatly record all pertinent data.
Continually assess the preventive maintenance schedule to ensure
that equipment longevity, avoidance of repairs and down time, ease
of operation and efficiency are all being maximized pursuant to
manufacturing recommendations. Install new equipment and systems
