The Food and Beverage Manager leads the staff as coach and trainer in the proper execution of Banquets, Breakfast, Restaurant, Room Service, Bar and Market standards. This includes the assessment of staff and property by “walking” the site and managing the team on a continual basis throughout the day with a hands-on approach. The Food and Beverage Manager will assist in hiring team members, manage performance, communicate feedback, administer discipline and train the team in successful performance of their jobs.  The Food and Beverage Manager provides effective guest service and is responsible for the scheduling, ordering and constantly delivering the highest level of service.



  • Minimum of 2 years prior hotel/restaurant operations management experience.
  • Proven Supervisory experience required.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Proven training experience required.
  • Exceptional follow-through consisting of strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Consistently follow through with guest requests and feedback.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
  • Must have excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while prioritizing projects.
  • Current Food Handlers and Approved State of Utah Alcohol Training.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • The understanding of Food & Beverage costing, menu creation, ordering, inventory and the reduction of waste.
  • Previous experience as a Lead Cook or Chef a plus
  • Previous experience with Micros a plus
  • Previous experience in a banquet setting a plus
  • The ability to create personal connections with peers, supervisors and guests.
