POSITION SUMMARY:

The Executive Housekeeper leads the staff as coach and trainer in the proper execution of Housekeeping, Laundry and Public Space Condition and Cleanliness standards. This includes the assessment of staff and property by “walking” the site and managing the team on a continual basis throughout the day with a hands-on approach. The Executive Housekeeper will assist in hiring team members, manage performance, communicate feedback, administer discipline and train the team in successful performance of their jobs.  The Executive Housekeeper provides effective guest service and is responsible for the scheduling, linen inventory, ordering, room inspections, lost and found and constantly delivering the highest level of service.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Minimum of 2 years prior hotel operations management/supervisory experience.
  • Proven Supervisory experience required.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and time management skills.
  • Proven training experience required.
  • Exceptional follow-through consisting of strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Consistently follow through with guest requests and feedback.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays if needed.
  • Must have excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while prioritizing projects.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • The understanding of the Room Cleaning Process, Scheduling and Inspecting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning equipment, laundry equipment and chemicals. 
  • Previous Experience with OnQ a plus
  • The ability to create personal connections with peers, supervisors and guests.
