Minimum 2 year experience in Food & Beverage. Banquet Experience a plus. Good written and oral communication skills.

Position Description

   General Responsibilities

 Supervise preparation of all food items for banquets, the restaurant and room service.

Ensure compliance with brand standards and brand initiatives.

Inspire staff to attain high levels of customer satisfaction for both hotel and banquet patrons.

Effectively manage inventory through ordering and monthly inventory assessment.

Ensure completion of daily and weekly cleaning duties.

Verify proper sanitation practices and compliance with county   health regulations.

Control departmental expenses and manage department within budget guidelines.

Work closely with Events Manager, Sous Chef, Restaurant Supervisor and General Manager  to manage day to day ogistics as well as manage the strategic direction of the food and beverage department.

Ensure effective execution of all events through hands-on involvement with kitchen staff.

Interview, hire, train and mentor kitchen staff.

Prepare clientele appropriate monthly restaurant specials with awareness of seasonality of ingredients and industry trends.

Oversee all duties before, after, and during service.

Train all employees on recipe, duties, and cooking procedures

Ensure all cleanliness and sanitation practices are followed.

Maintain brand standards.

Oversee banquet service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Work closely with General Manager on budget to track financial performance.

Ensure all guests are satisfied and well taken care of.
