Provide administrative and event housing (hotel reservations)/registration support to members of Orchids operations team on multiple events throughout the US. Minimal travel may be required. Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely and maintain positive working relationships with clients, hotel partners and convention attendees. Must be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Must demonstrate expertise in handling interactive variables in Microsoft Excel
Capacity to learn new software specific to Orchid
Convention/Event registration / hotel reservations experience beneficial
Assist Account Managers with event set up
Assist Account Managers in working with clients and hotels to maintain set room blocks and registration activities for events
Assist with sub block management for housing events
Process rooming lists and reservations changes
Assist with quality control of registration events
Respond to guest emails
Assist Call Center Coordinator as needed with various tasks
Assist with special assignments and projects as needed
Assume additional responsibility as needed in the absence of Account Managers
Provide inbound call center support during times of high call volume (back up)
Travel to various events for on-site support as needed
Other duties as assigned
Reports to Director of Operations. Provides event support to Account Managers. Will also interface with various hotel staff and clients.
