Position Description

The Banquet Manager is responsible for; working with the Food & Beverage Departments and Sales Department and overall execution of all events.

Primary Job Duties:

Manage team members. Hiring & training of team members. Scheduling. Attend BEO meetings. Call client to introduce yourself within 60 day's of an event. Call for Guarantee numbers 72 hours prior to day of event. Collect balance due on checkcash payments only (3 day's before event). Get final BEO's signed. Organize Sales Folder. Greet guests, and direct them to appropriate person. Create & distribute BEO's (with info from Event Order Sheet). Answer phones. Create folders for functions. Send out thank you letters to all clients within 3 day's after event. Assist the Sales Manager and clients. Help organize sales filing cabinet. Proactively fill slow time with aid to Sales Manager. Call Cc clients for details on events (menu, A/V setup). Redistribute Revised/pop-up's BEO's. Other duties as assigned.

Operations:

F&B management of Evening Reception and Breakfast operations.
