Under the direction of the Director of Sales, executes individual comprehensive sales and marketing plan in order to bring group business and events to Weber County.
Responsible for individual prospecting, room night and Ogden Eccles Conference Center (OECC) revenue goals in addition to Economic Impact and Attendance goals.
Maintains membership and participates in appropriate industry-related associations.
Maintains a client database in assigned region and markets, developing and cultivating relationships with meeting planners, groups and organizations that will result in attendance bookings and economic impact.
Fully engaged and participates in the joint efforts of the Visit Ogden sales team and OECC sales staff.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the annual sales plan, sales strategies, objectives and coordination of trade show participation.
Monitors individual sales report to achieve quarterly and annual goals and KPIs.
Compiles sales updates as needed to the Director to report to the Visit Ogden Board of Trustees at bi-monthly board meetings and annual meeting.
Researches and identifies business in assigned market segments. Develops and maintains relationships with rights holders to identify prospects, obtain RFPs and book events. Prepares proposals for events and directs event servicing and logistics which may include heading a local organizing committee for larger events.
Responsible for planning, attending and follow-up of trade shows and marketplaces to develop sales leads and generate future business.
Coordinates and arranges site visits and familiarization tours for assigned market segments.
Serves on local organizing committee for booked events and assists in operational execution of events as necessary.

|Salary Range||DOE - Base Pay with additional commission earning potential based on production. Benefit Package includes medical and dental, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave and 401K plan with matching contribution.|
